Delegation from East Africa visits Bavaria to learn about regenerative agriculture and food processing

From 9 - 16 May 2023, experts from the agricultural sector and food processing from Tanzania and Uganda visited Bavaria for one week. bbw organised and implemented the trip with financial support from the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs and accompanied the group on their journey through Bavaria to the various companies and institutions.

In addition to the opportunity to make contacts with Bavarian companies - e.g. Phaesun, Rapunzel. Naturkost Übelhör, Naturkost Weber, em-Chiemgau and Oilpress GmbH, the participants were able to visit organic farmers to learn extensively about organic and regenerative agriculture in Bavaria and to talk to organic farmers. Thus, not only initial business contacts were made, but the transfer of knowledge also played a central role. According to the participants' feedback, they all benefited from the trip both professionally and personally and would like to expressly thank bbw and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for this opportunity for further training and business initiation.
