Informative Meeting about the Second Phase of Occupational Training Partnership Tunisia

On November 11, 120 persons attended an informative meeting in Gammarth concering the second phase of the occupational training project in Tunisia.

Next to the deputies of the German embassy in Tunis and the German organisations for development cooperation, agents of the trade union UGTT and of the employers‘ association UTICA have been present. Both organisations won the Nobel Prize for Peace in 2015. The two panel discussions with the topics „Place and role of the private sector and enterprises  in concerns of qualifications and vocational integration in Tunisia“ and „Challenges, chances and perspectives for an efficient and sustainable education and vocational integration in Tunisia“ have been very exciting for the participants and the audience was discussing on the topics together with the speakers.

bbw is executing the project „partnerships for occupational training Tunisia“ together with the Tunisian Agency of Training and five public centers for occupational training in Sousse and Siliana. The project „BBP Tunisia“ is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development throughout sequa.
