Mechatronics Field Trip at Bela Bela

During the Covid-19 pandemic, many events had to be held digitally or as hybrid events. Fortunately, the number of infections in South Africa continues to decrease, so that face-to-face events are possible again.

In order for mentors and TVET lecturers to get to know each other better and to build better relationships, bbw organized a three day excursion in cooperation with the AHK at Bela Bela in the province of Limpopo. On the first day, TVET lecturers have visited the companies Festo, Bühler and Bosch together with the company mentors and inspected their production facilities.  On the second and third day - away from the hustle and bustle of the big city - various teambuilding activities were carried out. Together, the participants worked on developing the quality criteria for the project.
