Second Phase for Vocational Training Partnership Tunisia

From November 21 until November 29, a Tunisian delegation of 19 participants took a closer look at the dual vocational training in Gemany. This task has been fulfilled within the scope of the second phase of the project "Vocational Training Partnership Tunisia".

Regarding the new decrees and the tightened actions in order to fight COVID-19 in Saxony, most of the planned visits were substituted for online meetings. Executive personnel from the Tunisian Ministry of Education (MEFP) and the educational agencies (ATFP, CNFCPP), the leaders of the four fellow vocational training centers, agents of companies were present as well as deciders of the union UGTT and the business association UTICA from the regions Sousse and Siliana. Besides the questions concering the dual German vocational system, the participants were visting the workshop of the vocational center in Zwickau, discussing the role of the Chamber of Industry and Crafts, the operational vocational education at GKN as well asl the function of assistances for inclusion and consultants for vocational practises.

The project BBP Tunisia is founded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through sequa.
