Since March, seven Turkish job coaches have been supporting young Syrians in Turkey and disadvantaged Turks in their integration into society, vocational training and integration into the labour market.
Prior to this, the local job coaches participated in train the trainer activities and a mentoring program. Experienced trainers of bbw trained them in potential analysis and individual educational planning. Support from bbw in the form of consecutive training and mentoring programs will continue until the end of the project in April 2019.
The project is embedded in the TAMEB project ("German-Turkish Partnership for Skills Development"). It is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and carried out in cooperation with sequa gGmbH.
